Shot for 7 Days of shooting - Texture, and CC Balance. Texture of the brushes and balance between the texture of the bristles vs the metal holders, the brushes vs the silk flowers and the painting in the background.

Such lovely flowers!

Greetings ya'll! A portrait of my sweet Maltese for you. She just passed her Pets For Life certification for the third time and so she will continue to visit the wonderful patients at Truman Medical Center. She makes people smile. Wouldn't you like a soft, warm, sweet pup like her to visit you if you had to be in the hospital? Me too!

Created this for the next Texture Tuesday with Kim Klassen. The theme is white. Check out the recipe on my blog: jleggphoto.squarespace.com/photography_2/2012/2/24/an-ele...

The best place in our house for taking photo's, espcially on low light days, is the bathroom :) light tiles and a big skylight. Just perfect for still life shots.

Thank you to everyone who takes the time to look at my photo and make a comment or leave a fave. Your thoughts are much appreciated.

for 7DoS: when things go wrong sometimes it just best to bail out ;) It would have been a good idea if my neighbour hadn't left their little boat out in the rain. I wonder when they might rescue it?

A lovely plant with stunning formation and color. I have been trying to get a decent photo of it for some time. The pink color is so vibrant, it almost glows. Truly Heavenly!

for 7DoS: I wasn't sure if the texture of the mat showed up enough in this shot, but the mysterious tag bot sees it so hopefully it's okay :)

for 7DoS: too windy for outside delicate shots here today. Luckily, I have a few I can use in case I don't manage to find anything elegant around my house this week ;)

In my garden, for 7DOS texture.

Bought a few kilo's of them to get us through the winter :) so good in a smoothie or, even better, in vanilla custard !!!!

They looked so good in my red colander , boy do i love red :)

Texture tuesday The Word eDition and the word is wisdom.

Textures used: kk_ moonlight, kk-sophia and kk_minted and my own cabinet card backside texture.

I hung my Ikea Lill curtains before the window to filter the light, such a good buy, cheap and they give such a wonderful effect. I only use them as a backdrop !

Today's Texture Tuesday theme is the Open eDition, and is to be centered around the prompt theme open. Our hearts are open, and I hope that is portrayed here. Kim Klassen's beautiful scratched texture called "wonderful magic" was applied.

Happy Tuesday!

It's been raining all day today! While my pals, Max and Devereaux seem to mind the rain, I've been my goofy usual self, hang'n upside, keep'n action going, enjoying the refreshing raindrops. Today's photo is especially for Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday with the use of her latest "Golden" eDition. Thanks again Kim! We love your textures!

I think I notice Devereaux's legs having grown a little bit longer!

I found this red funnel at a Brocante fair. I have a lot of red kitchen utensils and this one fits right in.
