The theme for today's Texture Tuesday is gratitude, the challenge is to combine two of Kim Klassen's textures together, and so Silence and YesterYear were applied.
I'm extremely grateful for having good health. I was feeling healthy, happy, and silly when this was taken last week. This week, however, I've been having a tummy ache. Yesterday, I was off my feed, but I feel a bit better this morning and ate some breakfast. When my mommy and daddy gently rub my aching tummy, I lick their faces with gratitude.

Week #6 (w/b 16 August) If Only - this is going to be a great week of interpretation! What would happen “if only” such and such had happened or taken place? If only you had turned the oven on or worse turned it off!! If only you had won the Lottery or what about all that chocolate, if only you had eaten that without having to share!! A week of interpretation the good and maybe the not so good of those “if only” moments … but whatever have lots of fun!!

7 Days of Shooting. Week #48. Spots and Dots - Texture Tuesday

Steamer SS Dicky was shipwrecked on a Caloundra beach which was named after her. The ship sailed from Rockhampton and as it arrived to clear Caloundra Head it met lashing rain and cyclonic winds that sent the ship on her beam ends. Captain James Beattie was forced to beach the ship to avoid hitting the rocks off Moffat Beach.
On 4th February 1893 at 10.35 am the ship grounded stern first on the beach.
The wreck was removed by the Sunshine Coast Council 30th July 2015 as it was considered to be a hazard to surfers and swimmers.

If only ....
In 2007 HRH, The Prince Charles, used £20million of his own charitable foundation’s money and personally brokered a £45million deal to secure the house and its collection of Chippendale furniture. The idea then was to create a sustainable business that would help regenerate the local economy in East Ayrshire. It's now a great place to visit with so much happening for both adults and children ... great place!!

Mrs Mail said I should photograph some fungi growing in the footpath near our house.
I doubt this is edible and they often grow around the grass in the unstettled weather.
It is about 50mm o 2 inchs across.
I shot these lovely little purple flowers in the garden the other day and felt this one needed a little texture treatment.

I have a collection of shells, I love how they make me think of the sea and the smells and sounds you hear when walking on a beach.
The pipe fragments are of very old stone pipes, I found them while working in the garden, no idea why I found so many in that spot. It was in a small village in the north of Holland.
Did some work in LR and in PSE I did some more and I added textures: kk_0101, kk_100 and kk_lookup, all by Kim Klassen.
