Back to the alphabet, for this week! The letter D must represent your subject … dogs, dolls, damaged, dancing you get the idea but don’t forget the donuts!!

Taken during the week of the Chelsea Flower Show, when there are decorations all around the area. Many of the displays are based on fairy tales. These toadstools were made from wood & flowers.

This is my first Texture Tuesday submission of 2012. It has taken me a while to get the new year started thanks to illness, but I am starting to get back on track. This week's theme is "story."

I had the opportunity this past weekend to rent a couple of lenses from Borrow Lenses. I rented Nikon's 40mm Macro and 85mm Macro. I loved certain aspects of both lenses. I have wanted a macro lens since I started out in photography in middle school. I might finally get to own one. I think I ultimately decided that the 85mm will be my next purchase (hopefully soon).

This image contains 2 of Kim's textures: Scripted set at multiply 50% and Paper2 set at soft light 100%. Make sure to go check out the other great entries and submit an entry yourself (there is a yummy giveaway for Ruby Loves jewelry).

Firstly thank you so much for the well wishes I am an unhappy bunny but have taken advice and got some Thermal Patches - Thanks Barb and armed with more painkillers and my hot water bottle hopefully will ease by tomorrow.

So limited to housie topics I have used Nanna's old Bible once again and seeing as though it's Tuesday combined a Kim Klassen texture called YesterYear. The ODC Theme for today is adventure and seeing though I am unfit for any adventures today, I will have to go with a tenuous link of exploring through the realms of Photoshop and textures for my adventures today.

Thank you so much for views, faves and comments all are very much appreciated, I promise to catch up properly with all your wonderful photos as soon as I can :o)

Also known as the Magpie-Lark which is quite misleading, as the species has no link with either the magpies or the larks. However, the Magpie-lark is sometimes confused with the Australian Magpie, Gymnorhina tibicen. While both species are black and white, the Magpie-lark is noticeably smaller than the Australian Magpie.
