Happy Texture Tuesdays Folks ..

for 7DoS: When I went for a walk today, I left my camera at home because I have more than enough shots of bridges ... but I had my phone with me and now I have even more shots of bridges!

This weeks theme : Perfectly Imperfect.

So many possibilities !! I choose this very old sauceboat, it dates from the 1940th.

I think it is so perfect but it's missing a chip on the right in the red line.

The roses are getting brown ridges they too are not all perfect but still i love how they look.

I choose the texture kk_touchof-2 and used it twice on two different settings.

I took the photo in front of the window to get this beautiful soft light.

Hi!!! Happy Texture Tuesday!

For Kim Klassen's "Anything Goes" edition today, I added two layers of her "Sweet Tart" to a picture from yesterday morning in the garden.

I also want to thank everyone for your compliments on my book. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing the movie preview yesterday. Some of you asked about getting pawdographed books. I think that will be pawsible, IF Very Vivi gets printed by a book publisher (someday, hopefully). Then copies will be reasonably affordable and I'd be delighted to personally pawdograph copies for all of you. While self-publishing is a fun and exciting project to do (and I recommend trying Blurb's SmartBook if you want to make a coffee table book), the only problem is it's expensive, especially once a book goes over 90-pages and top quality papers, linens, and the largest size book are ordered. I'll let you know if a publisher takes it.

About 3 hours south of DC lies the crumbling but still magnificent Swannanoa, an Italian Renaissance Revival villa built in 1912 by millionaire and philanthropist James H. Dooley (1841–1922) above Rockfish Gap on the border of northern Nelson County and Augusta County, Virginia. It is partially based on buildings in the Villa Medici, Rome.

Perhaps one might say, "its just a duck!" But while watching terns this one stayed with me the entire morning. Fishing on the edge of the beach she gathered with her pals enjoying the morning sun and solitude. I could have watched her for hours…

Well Shantel's Chapter 3 strikes again...for my last 2 days so holes will feature 3 days on the run !! Featuring my mini colander that is full of holes, I have also added the Aurora texture from Kim Klasen for this weeks Texture Tuesday. I have added the texture and set the blend mode to Hard Light at 90% Opacity after tweaking curves.
