Peeling paint in a back alley caught my eye. Up close it resembled wriggling bacteria.

This window has seen better days... Located in Cojímar, Havana, Cuba

I have processed this a few times-and not entirely satisfied--any suggestions?

This little fellow was tiny, and this was the best I could do with an extension tube, but it shows how narrow the focus is. Macro lens on my wish list from the Easter Bunny! :-)

This very nice skink is a Canaria islands endémic. Those with blue tail only live in Gran Canaria.

I love the colour and texture of the bracken in late autumn , add into the mix the amazing birch tree bark, cracked like an elephants hide along with the sprinkling of autumnal leaves with the mist makes for a varied canvas.
