Taken today out with some family visitors. The weather couldn't have been better. Found lots of these lovely fruits of the Sweet Chestnut trees in our local park, just down the road. These aren't as fat as we like them to eat, roasted, but still very pretty. The autumnal colours were beautiful and the light just right. Do you like sweet chestnuts?

I love the colour and texture of the bracken in late autumn , add into the mix the amazing birch tree bark, cracked like an elephants hide along with the sprinkling of autumnal leaves with the mist makes for a varied canvas.
