Well a few days ago I bought my first speedlite. Yesterday I went to the woods for testing out the speedlite and learning how to use it.

This is one of the first shots.. Originally I bought it for portrait photography, to replace my Ikea lamp used for portrait pictures, but as I don't have models walking in and out of my house..

So, I liked the lightning and the midnight feel.. It was taken in bright sunlight.

I'll hope you like it to as this isn't a typical photo of me :)

PP: I cropped it a little bit an added a little touch of contrast.. So as good as OOC.

Wide open - the shallow depth of feel gives it a painting-like feeling for me

this is an old pic... just wanted to test the power of cleavage and whipped cream as a means to getting views...

In the viewfinder, both flowers were in focus but not on the image. What's up with that?

I was reserving my last roll of Agfa RSX II (of course, outdated) to use it with the hassy. The new lens seems to be working fine.

This concludes the test of the camera and lens. This Konica Autoreflex T is the second one I own, and all shutter speeds seem good, advance, spacing, rewind all work well, and meter appears accurate. Flash is fine too. Lens is smooth, clicky and snappy. Both solid pieces of photography gear.

No it’s not a Rorschach Test but it sort of reminded me of one!

Today was another glorious day on the water and the sunrise was a memorable one as well! This however, is the sunset from the last week’s journey to the bayou which was also quite spectacular! This is a shot taken looking due east toward Clear Lake City from just west of Bay Area Park! This is a wide part of the bayou that eventually turns into Mud Lake and heads toward Clear Lake close to Johnson’s Space Center!

We eventually reached about 72ºF today! It was a wonderful winter day! Bring on the spring!

The 5354 is looking rough as it finishes an air test and readies its departure from the landfill to its base in Helper, UT. When not in dirt trains service these motors would push trains over Soldier Summit west of Helper.

There was a lot of wing action on the Bald Eagle nest, resulting in a very disappointing visit.

The fog was as heavy as I have seen in Tulsa.

So I decided to edit to the max with LR, Photoshop and my amateur ability.

Comments welcome!

Of course I realize this should be a delete image.
