Test sewing for dynamite dollfie dream body ^^ still gotta work out the kinks with the groin part ^^;
It is as I had feared. When I shot the first test roll and heard and felt the grinding of the mechanisms inside the camera body, which gave me the distinct impression of wanting to be left alone to die in peace, I thought "Oy vey. This is not a good thing."
And when I saw the scans of the processed film and saw that the film transport apparently doesn't work reliably after the 24th shot or so, I shook my head in dismay and thought: "This is definitely not a good thing."
But then I took a good look at those shots that had come out well, I sat down heavily, in amazement and I thought: "Cor. This is a good thing."
Sharpness, contrast, colour rendering, creamy bokeh, it's all there.
So, now what? I think I can work around that film transport problem by just using 24 exposure rolls, if I can confirm that the problem will turn up only if the wound up roll is too thick.
By the way, a Contarex Special with a Planar 1:2 50mm lens was what astronaut Ed White used during his EVA on the Gemini IV flight in June 1965.

A poor test at that. I got a new computer and lightroom imports are all messed up....life sucks. And there is too much dust everywhere......
Today's result. Tested positive on Thursday & the line is still getting stronger. Feeling a bit sorry for myself, but so far just a stuffy nose, dry cough & especially rather fatigued. It could be a lot worse.

Random test shot from my newly acquired Voigtländer Bessamatic II (aka De Luxe model 1962-1967) fitted with a 50mm f2.0 Septon. It holds up pretty well considering that this photo is taken at a freezing temperature of -12 ºC. I used Ilford Delta 400 developed in HC-110 B.

A test run comprised mostly of not yet in service CRRC bilevels departs Montreal West on its way downtown. Threatening clouds are nearby and it will pour about twenty minutes later. It is rumored that these cars will enter service within a month or two.
Every 4 weeks a Network Rail test train operates from York to Manchester Piccadilly seen in the evening sun at Huddersfield, with 43272 & 43250 still in LNER colours.
Not really based on any specific chamber, I just wanted to include as many elements from the game as possible.
