Formula One Testing, Day Two, Wednesday 6th February 2013. Jerez, Spain.
On a drive to Antrim I was passing Nutts Corner Race Circuit, and having to kill some time I thought I could pop in to see if there was anything on. There was a handful of karts on track and it turns out there was a pre-season test day on so I hung around for 15mins to capture some average images.
I just received my EOS 7D and ef 50mm f/1.8 in the mail today. :D I've been saving up for this camera since September. I'm so excited! I didn't so much look through the settings, so it was on single shot autofocus for this image and the ones following it. I have much to learn about this camera. :)
This (by no means perfect) panorama of the test valley in Hampshire I shot this morning was put together from 18 separate images - my first proper attempt at using the photostitch software from canon.
It was done hendheld so I'm sure if i'd bothered to get the tripod out the seams would be far better concealed!
Go on - have a look at it full size :o)

Formula One Testing, Day Three, Algarve Motor Park, Portimao, Portugal, 17 December 2008.
A blend of different filters on a grain test plot. This shot was taken from a moving car on Washington State's Highway 2, just east of Davenport.
Just a test shot that turned into a happy accident. I like that my face is out of focus but the top of my head, hand and arm are clear.
Just a test format with lots of erasures and smudges created in the process. I used what I had on hand during the wee hours of the morning, and drew quickly, but the small boxes at the bottom would normally be related to the main sketch in the middle. The top and bottom panels can be oriented vertically on a horizontal page. The top panel will probably be ordered differently for the final draft.
