..and Stay Resident.
Well, not quite. As a veteran of a 1000 psychic wars with MS-DOS this is what "TSR" expands out to in my head. However here it stands for Tactical Strike Reconnaissance. The TSR2 would have been the fastest most advanced fighter of it's day had the programme not been cancelled due to internal squabbling between the RAF and the Navy, and a politically motivated decision to buy into the General Dynamics F-111 instead (a deal which later fell apart due to delays and spiraling costs).
I mean look at this thing - this was developed in the late 50's! Almost all evidence of the programme was systematically destroyed, and yet this one XR220, the only complete TSR2, survived. There is a second air-frame at Duxford (XR222) that was completed cosmetically later as a museum exhibit. This one is at Cosford, and is in an original, un-restored state.
Here's side by side the first release of the police station terminator on the left next to the ultimate edition by neca.
So this new version I feel pretty much the opposite than I did about the tech noir version. I really like this ultimate edition more. The head is pretty much the same, except the new version added some gloss to the shades so it gets that shine which you can see. the jacket has great weathering which the first version didn't. his hands are actually painted now, the first version they were just all black. the only issue I have with the new version is the pants and boots again. I like the look of the pants and the weathering paint on the boots of the first version. but there is no articulation so I guess an even trade. But the guns are still better in the first release, the new version they are too rubbery. Anyway this figure is still well worth the trade up from the older version, especially with getting the alternate heads that were first released with 2 separate figures.
T-1000: Hey, brother!
T-800: Now what?
T-1000: Isn't your face a little too textured for a Brickheadz?
T-800: What you see is called charisma. By the way, you barely resemble Patrick.
T-1000: That was mean!
T-800: Keep quiet and look at the camera.
Enjoy T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger) and T-1000 (Robert Patrick) from Terminator 2: Judgement Day!

Lunch locked in lethal talons. 2:59 PM (3165)
The osprey – a.k.a. the sea hawk, fish hawk, and river hawk – is an aerial angler that glides high over shallow waters targeting unsuspecting fish. This lean, rapacious raptor hunts . . . prowling . . . circling . . . a bandit’s dark mask stretched around golden eyes staring down from 30 to 130 feet above the water searching for prey. Ospreys have extraordinary vision seeing through reflection and glare on the water’s surface to zero-in on a fish below. Their wide wingspan can extend to six feet, wings offering a fine display of feathers and finishing at the tips with four long, lithe feathers, widely splayed and finger-like, moving through air with grace and flair. The osprey flies with power and ease, maneuvering with an artistry of rhythm, a geometry reborn.
As the osprey soars and scans, it may pause, hover, flapping its wings as if treading air, making sure, waiting for the right moment to dive bold and hard, head first, wings adjusting, plummeting at speeds clocked at 50 mph. At the last moment, just before striking, the osprey extends its long legs and fierce talons, either skimming the water to scoop or plunging hard to grasp its slippery prey. The osprey is equipped with lethal feet, barbed and biting - the inside of each covered with tiny needle-like spicules; and the four long and scaly toes terminating in talons long and dark, curved and sharp. A reversible outer toe that swivels to the rear gives each claw two grasping talons in front and two behind - the perfect tools to clamp a lethal lock onto a slippery fish.
When the osprey hits the water and the grab is made, it’s time to become airborne again. The osprey is light – on average only 3 to 4.5 pounds - and he or she may seize a sizable fish, wriggling, trying to head down and deep to get away. Tremendous strength and exertion are often needed to get up and away with the prize. The oily coating on its wings makes shedding water easier, and the osprey’s powerful wings will arch or kink to form an M, allowing a technique for lifting itself and its captive from immersion.
Once the osprey clears the water, it carries its catch – fish head facing forward - back to its nest or perch. The osprey’s beak is hooked and sharp, appropriately bladelike for slicing or ripping into fish. Usually the osprey will eat the head of the fish first. At the nest, osprey parents will eat and tear the fish into small pieces for their chicks to eat – such feeding will continue until the young are able to hunt and survive on their own.
But the osprey’s hunt for fish is a battle not always won. Sometimes an eagle will play the pirate, bullying or attacking an osprey, forcing it to drop its catch. A clever eagle may even snag the dropped booty in mid-air. An osprey may also release a fish if it is too heavy or aggressive for the osprey to become airborne. Sometimes, an osprey’s talons will hook and get stuck in its victim, and if the fish is strong and heavy, if the osprey becomes fatigued and is unable to release its catch, predator and prey may sink – a fatal encounter for both.
The osprey is joy to watch - its hunter’s instincts and tactics, aerial acrobatics, and ability to plunge into the sea and then elevate with a struggling captive. I have seen an osprey dive into a frenzy of fish and rise out of the melee with a fish in each claw. I wondered how the osprey might feel at such moment - if beneath the fierce look in his golden eye, he might feel a special thrill – the way a golfer does in hitting a hole-in-one or the way a kid might feel standing with an ice cream cone in each hand.

The Skull was designed by Tominaga Kazuhiro, from crease pattern published on JOAS special issue 2011.
For the larger skull I used silver Stardream paper, and for the little ones(the eys),I used red Elephant Hide paper.
And the result is the Terminator metallic skull!
*Thanks Artur Biernacki for showing me an easier way to fold it.

Made by Kenner in 1991- 92.
From the Terminator 2 line.
Stands about 14 inches tall.
Has sound feature and light up eyes.
Says " Hasta La Vista Baby "
And " I'll be back "
Two different gun firing sounds.
Only articulation is at shoulders.
Back in the day I didn't like that this figure has almost no articulation. But It looks cool just to display. And the fact that the features worked was the sell for me :)
Chaos Terminator squad for my World Eaters army. I've made a full set of magnetized combi weapons, including four Combi-Meltas, Plasmas and Flamers as well as the Reaper Autocannon. The pictures shows only the ones i'm currently using. The squad is armed with 3 Combi-Plasmaguns, one Combi-Meltagun, Heavy Flamer, Chainfist, two Power Axes and two Power Mauls. I forgot to add the icon of Khorne... but it's there, waiting to be glued on ;)
Terminating in the winter sun is 413 captured here in the Midlothian Town of Mayfield about to go back to Clovenstone on the 3.
A more updated version of the old Terminator Bodyguard Unit. Instead of the power fist and storm bolter combination I opted for a thunder hammer and storm shield. Mainly for the reason that the Chaplain himself can augment this further on the tabletop. Painting wise I stuck with the black armour and went for NNM gold trim and NNM silver shoulder pads. On top of this is I tried some OSL on the thunder hammer. Really went to town on this part to make it look correct. Anyway thanks for looking and hope you like the miniature :)
The image I meant to post yesterday, along with the main picture. The bottom image shows me pressing the button to activate the light brick, and the top shows the effect.
A smaller variant of Sky-Net's larger heavy-weapons models. Designed to locate human resistance individuals after dark - it's thermal eye allows it to "see" body heat. Equipped with a four-barrel chain gun (with it's own separate eye to locate targets).
Hey everyone. I decided to get back into the Terminator mood, and let me tell you, it was fun. This mech started as a smaller version of this, and it's definitely my favorite one of the few I've made (mainly because of the light brick). The "head" is indeed built around the light brick from an Agents set, and when you push a button on the back, the main eye shines bright red.
There is a Mocpage, if you wish to see more pictures.
That's all for now; I'll be back with more soon.
