The line of trees on the left reminded me of an execution squad after shooting their victim.

Stealthy male Sharp-shinned Hawk hunting my feeder. Judging from the feather fragments tangled in his right talon and lump in his craw, it looks like he's enjoyed some success.

Rare winter visitor. Uncommon during the rest of the year. Smallest hawk. Most often seen during the fall season's southern migration.

The Terminator crashed my daughter's wedding reception.

Gotta love slow shutter speed, hand held shots of motion.

Adelaide Railway Station is the central terminus of the Adelaide Metro railway system. All lines approach the station from the west; it is a terminal station with no through lines. With most of the traffic on the metropolitan network either departing or terminating here, it has nine platforms, all with broad gauge tracks.

Walk the terminator... But be careful... You don't know what the Moon hides in its depths, beyond the shadows.

The future looks grim and the thought of giving up sounds liberating. But that is not for us the warriors. The stakes are high when fighting for a future. Sometimes we have to make sacrifices in order to progress.

We most terminate those bad thoughts that impede us to move forward.

This beautiful sunset was shot over a man made lagoon at Achada do Gamo abandoned mining complex.

This is also one of the most acid lagoons on the planet, with a pH that can go much lower than 1.8 in summer, due to water evaporation. Another great achievement of human kind….

This lagoon contains concentrations of various heavy metals and sulfur so high, that for sure if Terminator fell in there, he would not get out anymore, most surely he would melt or dissolve... In a Hollywood sort of speak, of course...

Even though it's basically a sulfuric acid lagoon, result of the mining acidic water draining, production of sulfur and the mining leftovers and an ecological disaster. In a twisted and sick way, it offers this amazing view... Almost as a glimpse of a post apocalyptic era.

It has been 50 years since the complex was closed, however the negative effects are still very present, as a strong reminder we tend to ignore.

The line that separates day and night is called the terminator. It is also referred to as the "grey line" and the "twilight zone." It is a fuzzy line due to our atmosphere bending sunlight. www.terryaldhizer.com

Not Arnold's Terminator! This is the term used for the line between the light and dark areas on the moon. This is heavily cropped, but shows a lot of detail.
