I believe this excursion was named the Prairie Marksman, a 2 day trip from Effner, Ind. to Keokuk, Iowa and back the next day on Sept. 29 and 30, 1979 with freshly painted GP30 700 that was repainted from the Bicentennial paint scheme. shown here at Effner, Ind. loading passengers for the trip west.
Continuing with my Experiments using High Contrast Films in my Very Old Dark Brown RODINAL I tested some outdated Kodak TECHNICAL PAN 35mm then loaded a 11/1993 dated 120 into my MAMIYA C220 + 80mm f2.8 'Blue Dot Sekor' and developed in my RODINAL diluted 1+30 for 10 mins @ 20oC. The negatives were fantastically SHARP ! Also, the Contrast was well controlled. I rated film at 25 ASA but I could have used 40 ASA as some negs were a bit dense. I used a MONOPOD to steady camera as I was getting mainly 1/30th second. 'Peasants Revolt' on our Metal Sculpture in Brentwood High Street -- 1/30th second @ f5.6
