Made for a christening cake this weekend. Looking at him, I wish I'd bent the balloon a little. Never mind!
These are some of the toppers for the wedding cupcakes. The colour scheme for the wedding is ivory, purple and gold.
The bride fell in love with these hearts and flowers with button centres when she saw the ones I did for a christening back last year and requested them in the wedding colours. We decided to mix-and-match a bit with them this time. The cakes will be in gold cases.
Made in fondant.
Too cute, pirates, treasure maps, skull and cross bones flag and a sword.

The inside of the green wedding cake was a Swedish traditional cake, The Princess Cake. It is a layered cake with raspberry compote, vanilla custard and whipping cream all covered in a yummy layer of marzipan.

I love this little Topper kitchen. Topper was a division of Reading, so I took some comparison photos with my Reading Deluxe kitchen. I think it's about 1/12th scale, maybe a bit smaller.
Special cake topper made for a little boy who will be celebrating his 1st birthday on New Year's Day! I wasn't going to take any orders for New Year's Eve or Day but this customer really wanted something special for her baby...so I agreed to the toppers because the theme was adorable...elephants with red balloons!

The creator has set out for 1L a trapeze suit and hat (Im in my giant so I can resize the hat)

........ for a policeman who is turning 40. I'm not doing the whole cake, just making the topper. As I couldn't put his number on the epaulettes on his shoulders (too small!) I made a sort of feature of them on the plaque and scaled up the handcuffs to match.
I can't wait to go on Lorraine's workshop in May so I can learn to do these faces properly and have them looking less scary! I tried to make this chap look as if he was surprised to be 40 but I just ended up with him looking as if he'd shoved his fingers in the light socket ! LOL

Made this table topper to cover up my 'antique' kitchen table - the top was getting so beat up from the kids but not worth it to refinish yet as I' sure more damage is to come, LOL so I made this quilt backed embroidered topper to cover table when we're not eating

A beautiful sunny evening at Rogerstown estuary where Rush sailing club train young people in the skills of sailing. The boats race between marker buoys on the estuary before the racers progress to the open sea as they become more competent.
The boats they use are Laser and this one a topper.
