In the rapidly fading evening light,20007 and 20142 pass Churchdown with the "Chopper Topper Returns" railtour - 2.7.22.
We spent most of the day putting the christmas tree up and it took alot less time than when we did it last year. This isn't as clean as I'd like it to be :P
A little better results I think, after infinity focus and rangefinder calibration.

I spotted on my Facebook feed that they'd installed it today, so dashed out to get a photo before the weather spoiled it or it was vandalised (yes, there are spiteful people out there who think it's clever to ruin other people's pleasure).

As we approach Día de los Muertos I have a top hat on my bedsde table along with a scarf and obligatory New Mexico dust. Flowers and maybe a veil will be added later to the hat.

The first Christmas that we lived together we made salt dough ornaments. This was my only attempt at a 3D item. It did not exactly turn out as I hoped, but we loved it anyway. Now it has been the tree-topper for one of our miniature trees for 20+ years.
These are some of the toppers I made for a farmyard cake. Porky, Shawn, Nahthen, Urshula and Rodger are going to make a little boys party a fun place to bee!!!
Have a great weekend, Flickr friends..you rock!

so it turns out they didn't get the initial toppers i had a box with a facinator in it waiting for me at the reception! (i thought there was a mistake until the girl said no this is the cake topper a hat!!! so i had an interesting 10 mins staring at the box wondering how to attach the boody thing when i had a moment of inspriation.... a cutip stick! i pulled of the cotton ball bits clipped the facinator onto it then stabbed it in the top styro/fonadant lid and voila, i quite like it goes with the whole hatbox theme, i just wish it was bigger with big black feathers that would have been breathtaking (well i think so) what a dodgy back drop though don't you think? when i said to the girl where will the cake table be going as i don't want it moved once i set it up and she looked at me funny and i explained that if it could be placed in the correct spot before i set up and she looked at me like i was a nutter! she just blurted thats were the cake goes (in front of a dodgy art print shoved in the corner!!! what the!!!)
As noted before, we journeyed up to the magnificent Canadian Rockies, and were lucky enough to hike through both Yoho and Banff National parks. The views from all parts were stunning. Because the water is glacial water, the 'flour' colors the water a characteristic turquoise. The clouds were ever present, but didn't get in the way of looking for images. Thanks to those who keep inspiring us - we all keep trudging along trying to capture some wonderful memories.
These are cake toppers with matching cupcake toppers.
This would look good on any bought cake or I can make you a cake & cupcakes to match. Suitable for all budgets and all DIY skill levels.
I can make any toppers you require. if you don't see it here, I can make it up to special order.
