A cute vintage syrup pitcher. Dark olive green plastic top, decorative glass body. The glass is in excellent condition. There is a hairline crack on the plastic top, which does not effect the way it screws on, nor compromises it's pouring integrity. I believe it could be patched someday if needed.

Waffles anyone??

This is what we were served without being asked what we might prefer. Syrup was warm, but definitely not pure Maple syrup. Margarine spread instead of butter :(

A local homeschooling family gracious offered extra sap from their maples this year and we made our first batch of maple syrup.

Filling a bottle of Maple Syrup.

Hello! This is Doug MacRostie and I would like to share some pictures from my parents, Bud and Elaine.

My Grandpa (Mom's Dad) has been collecting maple sap to boil into syrup for something like 1000 years (...), and the tradition is continued by my folks.

The boil-down was a success! We got many jars of "Number One" "A-Grade" maple syrup! Bodies ache all over from all the work it takes to do this. Carrying all those gallons of sap and then sitting at the fire keeping it going perfectly all day wears you out, big time!

I love blueberries, I make no apologies about that, and I saw what to me sounded heavenly. Blueberry Syrup. But alas I have some that I bought last year I don't ever think to use so what makes me think this bottle will be any better utilized. So I did not purchase it. But it sure does make a pretty picture. Plus it shows off the high ISO of the S90 pretty well I think. Of course I had to noise ninja it, twice, though the second time was because I shot jpeg for some reason and after tweaking the file it just did not hold up, so I denoised again. To my satisfaction it looks pretty good now.
