An 8 port D-Link switch went out on us at the office. Rather than just throwing it away, we decided to run it over with the warehouse forklift out back. I present to you the end result.
This is the switch mounted on my '72 Commando (my K&N filter just below it was removed for the picture). On my bike this was a convenient location because I do not use the stock Dzus fastener to hold the sidecover on (largely because I don't have the stock sidecover).
Therefore, the hole for the Dzus fastener has remained empty, with just a rubber grommet in it. I cut that off (after 46 years it it was as hard as a rock) and used the hole to mount a metal plate that holds the switch.
This works well, but I plan to make a slightly longer plate to move the switch down and make it a bit easier to find with gloves on. As I said earlier, you MUST move the switch to the down position when the engine starts.

Southern Pacific NW2 #1423 pulls the Southern Pacific #9010, the last remaining Krauss-Maffei diesel-hydraulic locomotive, out of the restoration shop at the Niles Canyon Railway's Brightside Yard for a day out on the mainline for her 50th birthday. Unfortunately, to reach the 9010, the SP 1423 has to drag three other locomotives (including 9010's pusher, Southern Pacific SD9 #5472) with it.

This locomotive is an 0-8-0 steam engine built in 1929 by Baldwin Locomotive Works as a switcher bearing the number 8376. It was originally operated by the Grand Trunk Western Railroad. Switcher #8376 was brought out of storage and recommissioned in 1976 as NS&W #76. When it was christened, NS&W #76 (76) was the last steam locomotive engine to be commissioned for regular freight service in the United States.

This is an Industrial grade 4 Port VGA switch, Totally developed (both circuit design & manufacturing)by myself and my friend Mr.Nidhin. We can connect 4 PCs to one monitor and select the required one with switch. There is no chances of signal mixing between PCs. We avoided this by using relays.From market we can buy the same, but that is not Industrial grade. those are very cheap and use only some push button switches to seperate the signal. signal mixing chances are very high. We made this when a requirement came from our Unit Control Room.
