The Blythe swap items I've received from the lovely Tânia, for our 'pastel and candy colors' theme.

This is a close-up of the three fabrics, you can see a pic of the whole package here.

My swap partner chose the kind of fabrics I really love. Hehe, I was juuust looking for some fun brown fabrics with geometric shapes last month, and I also wanted to get the exact same bird fabric before but never got the chance to. The birdies are so cute! Thank youuu!

My third SWAP skirt will be be based on these two styles. I will use dark indigo linen.

LEFT: Ivey Abitz Windrush frock. I won't do the dramatic swoop from this skirt but I would use the pleated mini-ruffles and longer ruffle.

RIGHT: Sarah Clemens short mini-ruffle skirt (navy) worn over a longer skirt (or bloomers) with ruffle. I would just add the longer ruffle to the upper skirt portion, both in the same fabric (similar to Ivey Abitz skirt).

I just haven't decided if I want the pleated or gathered ruffles. I am leaning toward the gathered ruffles -- that Sarah Clemens skirt has been a favorite style for a while now. :)

I used so many rivets on this bag! I used them to reinforce the straps, pockets and flaps. They also make the bag look a little more professional. I was really surprised at how easy they are to use, I might be a riveting addict now.

Here's another print swap from a couple of months back – Heyoka's wonderful pinhole work (left) from the series balancing act and my own where the tall trees grow. A pleasure indeed!
