Union Pacific's Ogden and Evanston locals swap trains in Echo, Utah the morning of Aug. 27, 2010. This was a common practice at the time, which provided crews with the ability to spend more time at home with their families. In 2019, PSR put a stop to it.
Marquette Rail's Z151 brakes to a stop on CSX rails at the Grand Rapids Eastern interchange. The Z crew will shortly swap GP38-2s with the GRE, as well as leave them a small ballast train. While these G&W properties are forbidden to interchange rail traffic with each other, non-revenue equipment like locomotives and MOW cars are permitted.

An apron I made from a pattern in my new book "A is for Apron" - the Fruit Tart. I love this book! I did some hand embroidery on the waistband. There is another photo that shows a close-up of the embroidery.
Jody and I decided to swap because of our common tastes and close ages ( she's just a year younger than me ) and we have prepared this first swap by mail and we eventually became penpal ^^

I've been wanting to do a film swap for ages now but haven't gotten around to it yet. I think now is as good a time as ever to finally start - but of course I need people who are willing to collaborate on this.
It doesn't matter what camera you use or for how long you have been shooting film. It also doesn't matter to me where you are from; I'm up to national as well as international collaborations.
So, I would be happy to hear from you. If you're interested, just drop me a line in the comments or via Flickrmail, and then we can discuss the specifics.

I remember the first time I saw these on Flickr, I thought it was theee most gorgeous thing ever! Now, I have one...YAY! I looks so beautiful hanging on my grandma's pie safe! Thank you Sandra sooo much! I love it! XO
I can't remember the particulars but this is train 420 swapping out power with the Mine Run at Kingsford on July 17, 1978. 420 had arrived with the 72A-5505-63A (F7A-U28B-FP7) for power and I believe it was picking up the 5056 off of the Mine Run which had failed the previous day. I believe they left the north facing 5505 for them and I'm thinking they may have been able to use the C&NW wye at Antoine to get the unit turned around and facing the proper direction. The other unit on the Mine Run that can be seen in the distance is U23B 5000.
My craftster swap stuff came yesterday! :D JW sent Floyd a beautiful hat/hood, a boom box bag that is perfect for Floyd and a pair of jeans. She also sent the glasses that Floyd is wearing. Harper stole them as soon as they came but Floyd has recently repossessed them.
Some time ago I did my first swap first with Belle. Since she received it today I can finally post my picture ;) I had so much fun searching for girly pink ribbons (15 in total)!
