Hmm. I think I have WAY too many fabrics picked out here. Even if I use only a tiny bit of each one, I need a maximum of 13 prints. I have 16 here. Time for weeding.

I also find that I am in perhaps WAY too many swaps just now. I have zero time for sewing but can't stop getting excited about swaps. Especially when there are so few here on flickr these days. Might as well sign up for ALL of them, right?!? But I am excited to MAKE a little sewing time and get to work on a few fun projects. And, oddly, two of the three (traditional) swaps I'm in currently (I'm also doing a few individual swaps, a bee, and the Bitty Block Committee) are for very similar items and my partners have very similar taste. Which is, in turn, very similar to mine. So I'm thinking of making multiples of the same block to be used for different swap projects and a cover for my Nook.

Hi partner! Sorry I'm a little late with this. I tried to pick out some non-exclusive faves that would translate well to a mug rug. But anything in my favorites or previous mosaics still apply!

1. Mug Rug, 2. mug rug, 3. Mug Rugs, 4. Zig Zag Mug Rug, 5. Baby Geese, 6. Mug Rug Swap 2010, 7. , 8. lemon slice 2, 9. Heather Ross Mendocino Mini Quilt, 10. The Silk Tempest, 11. Arrived ..., 12. PTS quilted 2

Plus two more from Katie, who opted out from the mosaicing:

Swap with Kritsina (Paperwaits: www.flickr.com/photos/paperwaits/)

The nice swap that Martina got from Coral, Mia, Lola and Angelberries

Bookmarks for bookmark swap gift. I used felt and reverse applique for the top one, repurposed linen skirt and thrifted linen bias tape for the second (I embroidered the flowers), and scraps leftover from making patchwork bias tape for the third. They're not perfect but hopefully will be well-loved.

Woollykat sent some fantastic goodies with the quilt. Can you believe this is her first pouch? The colors are perfect for me. So generous with the fabric too. I'm a happy swapper!

A postcard I got in the 10th year anniversary of iHanna's DIY Postcard Swap spring 2020.

I am probably on glue here. I don't think I've ever sewn this much in a year let alone 2ish months.

I have almost all the fabric, I need a couple knit solids. It's all pink. They will be made in size 128 for an 8 year old. They are "young" patterns for the most part, but she's a "young" 8 year old IYKWIM.

Some of it is rather summery, I am going to make those items first so she can get the most use out of them. She's inherited my husband's "hot all the time" gene though, she rarely wears long sleeve shirts or sweaters (and we live in Canada, lol). I suck at pants so I went with more skirts.

LOOK AT THIS AMAZING BREAKFAST SET! Sorry, I don't mean to shout, I'm just SO EXCITED! Every piece is just PERFECT. Thank you, thank you, thank you my secret bunny!

Gracias nuevamente Sole!

Oooooh!! Look at all those packaging!! Just arrived today!!

Swap with Kristina (paperwaits)

How fun this this!!!???!! I'd had flickr friends before who'd gone to meet up and found the person they were meeting to be their partner in some swap or another, handing them their swap package in person. I always thought that would be fun. And it was! Especially since the package contained this wonderful bag that Jackie made!

I'd secretly hoped it might be for me, since I'd asked for a bag in the swap. Not to mention the pile of fun-colored zippers and the big (to me with my collection of Heather Ross scraps) cuts of Munki Munki pj's. I didn't have any of these (and had never even seen one of them before!) and am so excited to use them for something special.

I wish all of my HR were neatly kept in one place so I could take a photo of my current collection. Maybe I'll have to work on that. But then I might be less likely to use it in projects (right now the scraps are in a special little box and anything bigger is mixed in with the general fabric population, sorted by color).

Thank you Jackie! Such a fun and thoughtful gift to find on our fun trip!

lo que me envio chechilina por el swap amigurumis del amor de Amigurumis Chile ^^
