What a wonderful surprise I found in my mailbox today! Made by Lolablueocean for the Mini QT "Houses" Swap. I love everything about it! It just makes me happy to look at it! Lucky, lucky me!!
Holly of Hollydoodledesigns sent me these lovelies inside a matchbox as a thank you for hosting the swap (so not necessary but how gorgeous are they!)
My swap partner listed grey and white as their favourite colours for the mobile swap. made with recycled and reclaimed papers, thread, seqiuns and a reused metal and plastic hanger.

K443 has swapped out quickly at Tilford Yard in Atlanta, and is seen departing for the last 30 miles of its trek to Lawrenceville, GA.
Since the early 90's Clare has been the common meeting place and train swapping place for crews coming from Cadillac and Owosso due to a couple longer tracks and with the amount of switching moves that some times takes place to switch out the plastic. Here ONTN just cut away from their northbound train and will shove the head lumber car down the old C&O main to be spotted. The CSTN has just cut away from their train and will grab ONTN's train that is sitting on the diamond.

Just about ready to send out--based on Handmade by Alissa's placemat tutorial. Love this Patty Young. Whaddya think, partner?
Dear Partner, this is the first mini that I made for you! As I don't have Sara Fielke's book I found my way to piece it, and it was very difficult, some seams were handsewed. And when it was finished I realized that it was smaller than the MiniQuilt Swap's rules. So I made the other one too! This minimini will be yours too, as an extra one! Hope you liked this too!💚✨💚✨💚✨💚✨
FABULOUS package received from Gigi & Big Red. Lovely handmade items, wonderful pink kitchen accessories that go perfectly w/my new pink dishes...everything was packaged so nicely. A great, thoughtful swap package! THANK YOU!!!
Up early today doing some head swapping. Tall and Petite are not as important to me as poseable, so these girls are getting body swapped. I use the heating pad to soften their heads before pulling them off.
They look so much better on the pivotal bodies.
After several epic fails, I made this little guy from a pattern by www.hatchedandpatched.com.au.
I'm pretty sure this isn't really what my partner will be expecting, but they did have some animal themed pincushions in their mosaic, and what could be more fitting from a New Zealand swap partner than a sheep?! I hope the cute factor will make up for the lumpy-bumpiness!
CN's Humko power tends to be swapped out a lot these days, and usually we can expect another noodled ex-IC or ex-GTW Geep to take the reigns. Imagine my surprise when I'm informed that IC3108 had arrived in town, with IC9610 and its partner having disappeared the night before.
For a day, 3108 worked on its own, but it was then joined the next day by IC9569. That's when I happened to stumble upon it over at Kraft right after work one day. It's hard to believe the 166-built IC3108, rebuilt in 1988 at Paducah, used be leading intermodal trains up and down the IC at 70mph, seeing as it and its sisters all have been demoted to local power these days. How times do change...

Dear partner, hope you like the twin set fabric bucket that I have made especially for you!
I used some scraps of our favorite designers: Heather Ross, Denise Schmidt, Laurie Winsburn, Suzuko Koseki and Aneela Hoey! And I chosen acqua prints for the inner fabric!
I found another tutorial that is great too, and there I saw the handles attatched in this bucket, I found it so useful! you can find it here: quarterinchmark.blogspot.com.br/2012/08/tutorial-patchwor...
