The area set aside every year at the H.G.M.S. annual show where club-members can trade their extra specimens and some of their creations for swap dollars (play money) to be used to buy items from the dealers. Works pretty good for all concerned!
Yesterday get the choker from Sara. It fits me perfectly, love the colors and shapes :)

My end of a swap I am sending in exchange for stamped images.
Used postage stamps, small charms and other little odds and ends I could find to please this flower loving outdoor girl! She said she loved to work with fabric and mostly ATC size so I did my best getting her ATC size tid bits. In trade for stamped images
Swap-bot "panties and a Surprise" swap received from jessika in Australia! the comfy organic cotton panties are awesome !
Collage from another swap of printed papers, a 2014 ICaD octopus drawing, gold candy wrapper paper, washi tape, stickers. Collage #575/365 and N(C&)LWM #27/2015
From the sweetpea swap from girlee girl! Tons of amazing things. On accident I left out the beautiful candles and towels she sent. I'll add those later! I could barely get the stuffed bunny from Alyona for these pictures!
rute you just know me so well, this was prob one of my best swaps ever!
All the hand made stuff is wonderful, and everything seemed very thoughtfully chosen - thanks again XOXO <3 <3
I'm one of the fairies for the July Swap-o-rama. This is a handmade postcard that my secret friend should receive next week.
The Blythe swap items I've received from the lovely Tânia, for our 'pastel and candy colors' theme.
This is a close-up of the three fabrics, you can see a pic of the whole package here.
My swap partner chose the kind of fabrics I really love. Hehe, I was juuust looking for some fun brown fabrics with geometric shapes last month, and I also wanted to get the exact same bird fabric before but never got the chance to. The birdies are so cute! Thank youuu!
My third SWAP skirt will be be based on these two styles. I will use dark indigo linen.
LEFT: Ivey Abitz Windrush frock. I won't do the dramatic swoop from this skirt but I would use the pleated mini-ruffles and longer ruffle.
RIGHT: Sarah Clemens short mini-ruffle skirt (navy) worn over a longer skirt (or bloomers) with ruffle. I would just add the longer ruffle to the upper skirt portion, both in the same fabric (similar to Ivey Abitz skirt).
I just haven't decided if I want the pleated or gathered ruffles. I am leaning toward the gathered ruffles -- that Sarah Clemens skirt has been a favorite style for a while now. :)
Between the JHD's Fashion Model body and some IT's bodies it is possible to swap with various parts that have similar shape and size joint pins.
The IT's bodies type suitable for this wapping are the following:
-FR6 and NF3 - hands, arms, forearms.
-PP1.5 - hands, arms, forearms, upper legs, under legs (high heels and articulated ankles)
-E59 - hands, arms, forearms, upper legs, under legs
Industry/True - hands, arms, forearms, upper legs, under legs (high heels and flat feet)
-Meteor - I don't have any body to make a comparison, certainly, hands, arms, forearms, perhaps under legs if the joint pin has a cylindrical shape (as soon as I have confirmation I'll update the data).
BE AWARE: the joint pins can be delicate and fragile, especially those of the elbow joint of the JHD bodies, unless you live in areas with high temperatures, heat the joints for 30-40 seconds with the hair dryer (or other methods you prefer) if you feel that the parts do not come off easily.
i haven't posted swap pics in awhile so here's my most recent kawaii swap from rachel! yay! :D

▲ KSU: HUGE Mini Memo Swap!
a couple of hours out this afternoon with my lad saw us swapping lenses and cameras around this is one from the 1d3 with my sigma120-400 on it .
I used size 10 thread doubled, a 2.5mm hook, and the Granny Mandala (rav link). The back is from Bea Aarebrot's Potholder.
This is my end of the swap-a-roo that I did with Mr. X Stitch. In case you didn't know, Mr. X Stitch is a newlywed with a backyard full of chickens, so I came up with this little ditty for the gent. He of course is by no means a simple man...but I thought "a witty manbroiderer surrounded by a bunch of hot chicks" didn't roll of the tongue as easily. ;)
