My completed hexies and extra hexie holder for my Heavenly partner in the {Handsome} Hexie swap!
I did a mish-mash of two tutorials, the gathered clutch from Noodlehead, and the hexagon holder at Comfortstitching. The holder didn't turn out exactly as planned, but I still think it's cute, so I'm going to go ahead and send it along and hope my partner likes it!
So I got some lovely prints from Ashley and Jacqueline (: I'm also in the middle of doing two more! Yay!
I started a photo wall in my room (: Doing swaps give me inspiration. I really can't thank you enough. After starting photography, I started to see the world in a different way. I learned to cherish the little things in life, God's creation. This is a true calling for me. I hope to keep growing too. This is so much fun!

1. I'm one of the least photogenic people there are. I wish I wasn't but I just can't take a nice photo to save my life x) Or it feels that way.
2. I'm kinda afraid of the water. The beach/pool/lake/river, you name it! I should re-phrase that. I'm afraid of the deep.
3. My friends know me as a baker & for my cupcakes but I don't like cupcakes that much. Or at least my own. I like baking them though (:
4. I've only been to Disneyland once in my life. :'( Deprived child here.
5. School starts next week & I'm nervous for my Senior year of HS.
6. Seafood isn't my thing. No, no, no. The only seafood that I will tolerate fully is probably shrimp. My least favorite is fish but there is one kind of fish that I'll eat. I call it shoyu fish but no idea what is really called. & I like calamari and stuff but -___-
7. Singing is my passion. I took lessons when I was 9 for a month then I started again at 11 til 14. It was really fun. Now I sing in my school's select choir, for mass & for random functions here & there.
8. COLLEGE IS SCARING ME. D: I want to go to the mainland (CA, OR) but $$ is the problemo.
9. I'm watching Price is Right cuz I'm so bored right now.
10. These 10 things are driving me crazy now. I have a bunch of things roaming around in my head. FAIL.

lucky star swap on swapbot. I made medium matcboxes and decorated it to hold the stars. I made a set of three, one for each partner.
From this pattern. Now to make some flying geese, maybe a churn-dash or an economy block, some low volume 9 patches, and perhaps some appliqued circles. That's the plan anyway. Hope you like it partner!
I am so lucky! All of these goodies arrived yesterday - sent to me by Jennyflowerblue as part of trash's rainbow swap. I need to take some more pictures of the beautiful bunting which has wonderful little pockets in it for storing treasure but today the light is bad!

This is the front of the mini quilt that I received from Sarah Oviatt. Love the quilting and the colors!
Name: Solidly at low volume
Size: Fits 18" form (16 works too, but is looser)
Details: Finished squares 1.5" - total 144. Zipper with flap closure at the back.
In this swap we were to send decorated and filled matchboxes to 3 partners. All my partners liked vintage items; I don't have much, so I put together items that looked vintage, and stuck with a brown and aqua palette. I think they'll be able to get crafty with these goodies. :)
Thanks for making me a pillow partner! I am sure that I'll love anything you'd like to make (I have LOTS of places for pillows) but I did just get a new sofa (kind of an avocado green solid sofa -- I'll post photos when it gets here) and might like a neutral-y pillow to go on it (it's pretty bright on its own). Or something for my craftroom daybed is always much appreciated.

Swap cards have swept a new generation of youngsters into the hobby of collecting and one social researcher believes they have many advantages in the digital age. (Photo: ABC Local/ Catherine Heuzenroeder)
Sam hosted a book swap at her apartment today: Show up with books you no longer want to own, take from the collected pile, and anything leftover would be donated by her. It was a perfect solution for a pile of books I'd recently set aside to get rid of!
I came with 3 bags of books and left with 1. I am pleased with that ratio. It was also nice to chill and talk books with others who read as much as I do!
