I received this homemade star from my partner in Qatar. The picture was taken with my cell phone and does not do the star justice; it is very well made and many small details are present such as the ring of beads around the bow in the center. It is so fun to get packages from far away!
The piece I received from AKAwhiteknuckles in the Phat Quarter "Zen" swap. I love it on so many levels.
Ryan just finished reading "Skinny Legs and All" by Tom Robbins and now he's convinced that the outline is the placeholder for the old teaspoon and he wants to keep this piece in his studio. FAT CHANCE, BUB!
It's going up on the handmade art wall right away!
Swap O Rama Rama received a generous donation of 8 machine rentals from Janome America.

Look at the goodies mamamary2 included with the pillow cover--the jelly bellies are already gone :) It was great to open this package when I got home from work!

This is for the Full Moon Swaps "Scavenger Hunt" swap - this is the swap I received~ You can see here the beautiful Belgian horse ceramic figurine, and the GORGEOUS mermaid horse painting my swap partner made me~ Sadly, the LOVELY mermaid necklace she created for me is in the corner of the picture and was sort of cut out! ;-;
For upcoming swap. (One is for me.)
I hinted at these with this pic awhile ago. I didn't use the embroidery floss that was pictured -- it turned out that I had the exact right shade of thread and liked it better this way.
Materials: wool felt (I think 70-80% wool, IIRC), thread, pin backs, stuffing. (Someday, I want wool stuffing!)
