At the APA Family Support Services event today in Chinatown. Help a Mother Out was able to donate much needed disposable diapers for local families. Check out helpamotherout.org to see how you can help with diaper donations to families.

Lower income and homeless families are HUGELY helped by diaper donations. Diaper banks no longer exist in No. Cal and diapers are not covered by food stamps. So families must pay for diapers with no assistance and they are quite expensive. Some families have to go without, or reuse disposable diapers, which increases illnesses and hospital visits for young children.

Cinderella is fully deboxed. She is standing, supported by the included display stand.

I just received Premiere Series Cinderella from the Disney Store today. I ordered her on release day, Saturday October 13, 2018. She is #1607 of 4400. She arrived in perfect shape. However there was three fingerprints on the inside of the viewing window above her head, that you can see in some of the photos.

Her face and makeup are absolutely gorgeous. I wish her hair was closer to the design sketch. Also there is too much black in the skirt, and the outer tulle reminds me of LE Ursula's skirt. But overall she is very striking, and represents Cinderella very well. I rank her third in this doll series, after Snow White and Jasmine.

Demonstration in support of Gaza in Toronto, march from Queens Park to the US consulate © Linda Dawn Hammond / IndyFoto.com July 26, 2014. Children wrote the names of every child in Gaza killed in this recent conflict by Israel on balloons, pink for girls and blue for boys, and then released them in honour and memory into the sky. Some kids were reluctant to let the balloons go, and men with scissors intervened to cut the strings! As of July 23, "2014 UNICEF’s communications chief in Jerusalem, Catherine Weibel, says that according to U.N.’s figures at least 121 Palestinian children under the age of 18 have been killed since the conflict started on July 8, making up a full one-third of Palestinian civilian casualties. Between July 20 to July 21 alone, she says, “there were at least 28 children killed in Gaza.” time.com/3012088/child-death-toll-gaza/

International Day of Al-Quds - Several thousand supporters of Palestinians (estimates range from 5,000- 10,000), with a small counter demonstration of a few hundred supporters of Zionist Israel.

From the Toronto Star:

The high proportion of young deaths is mirrored by the densely packed population of the 360-square-kilometre swath of land tucked into the southwestern Coast of Israel. More than 40 per cent of Gaza’s population is under 15 years old, and the median age of its 1.8 million inhabitants is just over 18 – compare that to Canada’s median age of just under 42.
