Sunset and clouds! together with a nice silhouette it can be beautiful. I was lucky to be at this place the right time of the day!

In a golden sunset, an AC is in charge of a small eastbound train 408, as they split the signals crossing the border from New Brunswick into Nova Scotia. I was standing on the Nova Scotia side, at Fort Lawrence.
It doesnt happen very often, but in this instance, I was able to get multiple shots of the exact same train, at the same location, even using the same lens.

Although similar, each photo has a different scene, and feel to it. Well, it does to me anyway..

Not too long ago, I rode along the intimate road of West Lake on Thursday and observed many changes in this place. I heard that the local government has approved the construction of an opera house project near the lake. In this image, which my friend captured and of us standing here, you can see the area where the opera house will be built. I’m unsure about what will happen or how this will affect the area in the future once in the opera house has been completed?
I truly love this place and feel a deep emotional affection to it. West Lake belongs to everyone - to me, to the local people living around it and to many couples. I’m posting this content I like and with no offense intended. I will cherish the soul, beauty and traditional culture that this place represents. 😔
Certainly, cultural values often face challenges over time. I hope that West Lake will develop while preserving its tradition, culture and environment. Because this place is a part of me, cheers!! 😄

Have a nice weekend, everyone!
Not only was this just a relaxing day but we had sun all day again. After taking a drive to see the Snowy Owls in the farm fields south of us, we were treated to this wonderful sunset on our drive home. It brought hope for longer daylight hours and more sunny days.
After a weekend of camping, I have a card full of some of the most beautiful sunsets! This park is amazing, there are so many sites to see and dunes to climb. Lake Michigan is truly amazing.
Every once in awhile you see a sunset that is special. And maybe that's entirely in the eye of the beholder. This one is special to me because it came at the end of a long day hiking with my siblings in Glacier National Park. That was six years ago already, but the brilliance of the sunset lives on in my mind's eye.

As the day draws to a close, CPKC's Windermere sub way freight pounds out the last few miles on the crews day as they near their terminus at Fort Steele. Pacing these EMD's at 50MPH never gets old.
