I was heading back from a somewhat unsuccessful visit to the moors to photograph Ring Ouzels when this interesting sunset started to develop. I legged it across the heather to find an interesting foreground subject just before the sun disappeared over the horizon.

I've subsequently seen a wide variety of images of the landscape here in very different conditions. We just chanced upon it looking for a sunset spot just after getting off the plane. Need to re-visit in the snow!

Hazy sunset at Port Dickson beach.

Some evenings we do strike gold, like here with some of the peaks of Glacier Park catching the setting sun. Perfect way to end a wonderful day.
