I sit beneath the sunset tree

and watch the sun go down

or sit and watch it rise again

far from the madding town

I lose myself along my beach

dance barefoot in the rain

I pick up my guitar to sing

and find myself again

I wish upon a rainbow

I telephone a friend

We let our tears flow freely then

it helps our hearts to mend

There's beauty all around me

it's everywhere I look

in the tiniest of flowers

in the sharing of a book

I feel connected to the Earth

feel sand between my toes

I love to splash in puddles still

and stop to smell a rose

but most of all I'm thankful

to have a friend in you

You recognise yourself in me

we'll make our dreams come true.

Cold Sunset last bit of sunshine is reflecting on the clouds in this late Fall photograph shot in North Carolina.

I was driving around the neighborhood looking for a nice place to use my 10 stop ND filter for the very first time. I was lucky to find this nice pier with such a great view of the sunset!

I loved the result, and the quality is way higher than what I expected.

Tokina 11-16 + 10 Stop ND filter, perfect to start my second year as a photography enthusiast.

We had a break in the crazy cold weather last weekend, decided to chance a sunset in our favorite spot.( I got Photomatix 4 for Christmas) and had to give it a whirl.

I have not been able to capture any decent sunsets recently due to the weather conditions so I have posted an image taken back in May of the beautiful sky and reflections at Langstone Harbour, Hampshire.

1 second exposure using a Lee 0.9 ND grad.
