Past 2 weeks have had the most beautiful sunsets. This one set behind these old Poplar trees. The fresh snow in the foreground was great contrast.

When I was in the Yukon last September, I observed this kinda sunset every day, I called it the Yukon moment, red clouds, colorful bushes, and rocks, lots of lots of rocks.

Every once in awhile you see a sunset that is special. And maybe that's entirely in the eye of the beholder. This one is special to me because it came at the end of a long day hiking with my siblings in Glacier National Park. That was six years ago already, but the brilliance of the sunset lives on in my mind's eye.
