One of those summer evenings where suddenly the sky gets into a magical feast of colours.

The wide angle does not let me down in these cases, nor does the graduated grey filter.

Weather is really bad this year... Very little nice weekends to go hiking... Occasionally we get treated to few hours of sun when clouds break... Just enough to go for a quick walk.. So more sunsets.... :-)))

This was back in early October when i went out chasing aurora. I got to Glennifer Lake in time to catch the sunset, then just waited for lady aurora to come out and dance....and did she ever dance on this night! Standing in the middle of the railway bridge you have the most beautiful view over the skyline in Frankfurt. It was a warm and clear day with an amazing colorful sunset.

Took several shots of what was the most fantastic sunset I've ever seen in person.

Sunset over the Indian Ocean, captured from the long stretch of sandy beach near Binningup, Western Australia. The small aperture created the sunburst and allowed for a 1/10 second exposure and some motion blur in the retreating backwash. Thanks for viewing.
