For "Our Daily challenge ... the other side"
Looking across the lake towards our house at sunset today.
This shot was taken at Trebarwith Strand on the North Cornwall Coast at sunset last week on a family holiday - It's one of my favorite places to watch the sun go down. It's a single exposure processed in Lightroom and Photoshop.

First some strange cloud formations passed overhead after what had been almost an clear sky. Then the rumbles of thunder indicating a storm. Next came a spectacular rainbow followed by an equally spectacular sunset in the other direction. Then as the sun faded and some brief flashes of lightning streaked the sky the heavens opened and both myself and Pops legged it (been doing a lot of that recently) to get back before getting a right drenching.
Even when the sun is drowning, it still illuminates whatever crosses its path. Likewise, we must confront the dark parts of ourselves. Willingness to wrestle with our demons will make our angels sing.

Summer has come. Let's call it summer, spring or however... And lovely long sunsets are there again. Still late in the evening and you can see those beautiful colours up in the sky. Yesterday was amazing I didn't took the camera... Maybe that means something. Who knows? Have a nice day!
El verano ha llegado. Llámalo verano, primavera, buen tiempo o como sea... Y estos maravillosos y eternos atardeceres vuelven de nuevo. Es tarde y todavÃa se pueden apreciar estos colores tan increÃbles en el cielo. Ayer era impresionante y no tenÃa la cámara conmigo. Quizás eso signifique algo, simplemente lo disfruté como una enana. Pero, ¿quién sabe? ¡Qué tengáis un gran dÃa!
