I took this picture in a beautiful sunset in the town of Hofn, southeast of Iceland. The clouds were amazing that day and the fire over the ice made a beautiful composition

Have a great Friday and weekend Facebook, Flickr, and 500px friends!

Thanks to invite from John Behrends I found myself at the Oregon Coast on New Years Eve. This photo was taken 34 minutes after sunset, but sunset color would hang on for another 30 minutes after this. A wonderful end to another wonderful year of photography in the beautiful NW. Indian Beach, Ecola State Park, OR O4593
at Kinderdijk.
I wanted to capture the mirror reflections of the mills at sunset, but two women jumped into the canal - yes, in October! - and swam along waving at us fotographers standing there glaring at them while they destroyed the reflections. And then the rain set in ... you all know days like this, don't you?
