we used to be down here all the time, taking the sunsets, somehow the birds took over :)
MY FIRST EXPLORE FOR FOUR YEARS :))
This shot is treated in Topaz with a good dose of clarity, saturation and vibrance. The colours were not this strong in real life. But they were strong enough to make me stop.
A short walk on the beach - started about 90 minutes before sunset with quite heavy cloud cover in the West (much less towards the East). Hoped for a good sunset show (or at least some colors in the opposite direction) but didn't expect all that much. Glad that I was proven wrong - we witnessed quite a show after the sun had set! In both directions!
Could really have used something wider than 24mm here - too bad I left the 16-35 at home!
This was back in October. There are so many rocks of all shapes and sizes along Oregon beaches, but not very many have trees growing on them. This almost qualifies as a mini island.
A late afternoon driving over the mountains from Dokka to Lillehammer and the sky suddenly presented me with some beautiful Sunset colours. I would have preferred a fresh coating of snow on the trees ....well maybe next time.

Manarola Sunset Series - Five
Positioned to watch the Manarola sunset light show as the sun paints the Cinque Terre village with vibrant, warm color before disappearing over the horizon into the Ligurian Sea and leaving the most spectacular blue skies imaginable~! This was an evening well spent and unlikely to be soon forgotten.

We've been camping for the past week on the beautiful Barrington River at Poleys Place, just outside of Gloucester NSW. We got to drive up to the top of the property to get these pic's at sunset. Thanks to Liipgloss aka Brenda Ashley for asking for permission to go up there. It was just amazing.

from a few weeks ago...beautiful warm evening with amazing sunset with strong colors. a longer exposure and then tweaked it a bit in photoshop and brought up the colors a bit.
We don't get much clouds in Southern California so it was even rare to see rays of sunset shooting through clouds. I had few other shots of the similar scene without Eric in the photo but at the end I liked this one the best since it give you a sense of realities and personal touch, otherwise it is just a pretty postcard picture from the news stand.
