Às vezes tudo se ilumina
Às vezes tudo se ilumina de uma intensa irrealidade
E é como se agora este pobre, este único, este
efêmero instante do mundo
Estivesse pintado numa tela, sempre...
(Mario Quintana)
Santiago, Chile must be one of the few places where you can climb a 1600m.a.s.m.l. hill placed in the middle of the capital, have a 7º Richter earthquake at the top and enjoy of a sunset reflected in the mountains in the the same evening haha. Greetings from Chile!

Have fun and go nature, go raw!
I spent several days in Nicaragua in early February. While at Montelimar Beach Resort, I made an effort to capture the sunset each night. On this night we had a very dramatic sky.

Sunset over South Sister, the highest of the Three Sisters volcanoes in Oregon's Cascade Range, standing at 10,358 feet. It's the third-highest peak in Oregon and a popular hiking destination, known for its non-technical but challenging climb and stunning views. I didn't go to the top this time. There's a lake up at the summit too (highest lake in the state), but it's not as much fun to swim in as this one below.
“Know what you want to do, hold the thought firmly, and do every day what should be done, and every sunset will see you that much nearer the goal.
I leave you today with this photograph of my series on last August, an intense sunset in Pont d'en Gil, a spectacular natural bridge by the sea on a rocky breakwater on the cliffs of northern Menorca.
They were about five minutes in which the orange flooded everything, creating an incredible atmosphere.
On the technical side, say that I only used a neutral gradient three steps filter.
I hope you like it. Have a nice Tuesday. :)

I've arrived in my new home in northwestern Ontario. This is the lake that the Ojibway Nation of Saugeen is near. It was a lovely sunset yesterday, just as I arrived, and tonight's (this one) was also lovely. This is a combination of two shots so as to show some detail on the shore. There's a little weird effect going on with the reflected sun near shore, so I may redo this.
Love my new home so far. School starts Tuesday.
