Happy Earth Day!
~ Glacier National Park, Montana ~
As we sat on the rocky beach the sun started to warm up the clouds which had been gray and uninteresting all evening. The thought was that our sunset photo shoot was looking more like a bust than anything. Yet another reminder for me that when you think it's over, it's not. :)
Hope all my christian friends have a great Easter!
Please take a moment to see this in a larger size. Thanks for looking and all comments are very much appreciated. :)

Birds’ paradise
The Barycz River swampy valley was chosen for the complex of fish ponds built in the 13th/14th centuries. Today the ponds serve as the habitat for many species of water and mud birds. Some of them, together with their environs, have been turned into an ornithological reserve and a landscape park known as the Barycz Valley. One of Europe’s largest wildlife reserves, it offers to bird watchers a great number of observation points situated on dikes.

Overlooking the Isle of Arran off the West Coast of Scotland this evening seen one of our stunning sunsets. We have some of the most attractive sunsets anywhere in the world between April and October and I urge you, if you like to photograph sunsets, the West of Scotland because you will simply not be disappointed.

I spent Easter sunday with some family on Coronado Island in San Diego, CA and we walked to the beach to watch the sunset. The clouds were rolling in as a rain storm approached and it made for quite a dramatic image. The sunset looked promising but the clouds did not light up with color as we hoped. I used a Schneider 50mm tilt shift lens and shifted left then right for the 2 image pano. I tilted about 2 degrees to get the waves as well as the ship sailing past the island in the background all in focus. It was a fun Easter and suprising to see a storm come in after the beautiful day here in San DIego.
