I told you I'm going to upload a photo of a sunset :D
I hope you like it. I'm not doing this everyday because I'm feeling pretty insecure at photographing landscapes...
So... feedback is appreciated - as always ;)
By the way: I additionally used a neutral density filter for a longer exposure.
EXIFs:
Canon EOS 50D
Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 @ 18mm
f/14

Another shot from the stunning sunset on Saturday evening, taken at Long Reef - one of my favourite locations (a headland which sticks out into the ovean, with a marine reserve around it and a golf course on top of it!)
This one comprises 7 portrait orientation shots stitched to a panorama in Photoshop.

Sunset at Lake Garda in Italy. I took this photo during my vacation there. A really great place to be and not so far away from where I live.

a beautiful soft sunset the other night....gorgeous oranges lighting up the point on Churchill Island in Lac La Biche....was still some leaves left on the trees but the winds have not been kind.

On Thursday night I decided to something a little different. I had a few extra minutes so instead of going to my usual "go to" locations I headed in the opposite direction. I headed in the opposite direction so I wouldn't even be tempted to go to my "go to" spot. I drove around for awhile until I ended up at the corner of Polk and 56th. the corn is getting pretty high but there was this one dip in the field that I could use to capture more of the corn stalks.
I need to do more shots like these, need to get better at not having a reflection (water) in my sunset photos. I ended up using two graduated ND filters to get both the sky and the field the way that I wanted.
I also met one of the neighbors while taking sunset photos tonight and had a nice conversation about the local eagles. It is always nice when I meet people while taking photos, a little added bonus.
