seems every time I catch a hilltop in an image...someone is standing there decorating it...as this was quite late I thought I had gotten away with a people free shot but no - when I got back and blew the image up,,,there were the people...probably some one catching the hill top sunset ...

We took a drive on Monday to look for Snowy Owls. At the end of the day we were treated to a sunset over snow and ice covered fields.
This is one of the views that the owners of a house on Lookout Point will have when they move into their new house that nearing completion.
Tonight a thunderstorm was over the salt lake in San Luis and created a very dramatic light. It got to dangerous to stay on the lake as the lightning started. But I have some very nice photos. Nice to meet Pedro Teurel and Jeronimo Contreras to share this magic evening.
Whitehaven harbour was once the third largest port in the U/K . It was involved in the making of over 1000 wooden ships up to the late 19th century
September, 2007: A year ago this month, this photo and another one of mine were runners-up in Digital ImageMaker Fine Photography Competition and I didn't even know it until I stumbled on the site, again, today. :)
