Acoustic guitar

One of the current theories of the way the universe is constructed is that matter and energy is constructed at it's MOST basic level of strings that loop and swirl.. I don't claim to understand it, but then - who does? But this photo that Jo Ann took of the reflections in the river in San Antonio reminded me of that..

Cool, isn't it - especially in the lightroom, where the colors are much more vibrant.

The Vif String Quartet is an Edmonton-based string ensemble that loves to make music together and share it with others. We take our name from the French word for bright, lively or vibrant – a term that captures our attitude and approach to music-making.

Members of the quartet perform regularly with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Alberta Baroque Ensemble and other ensembles, and have music degrees from the University of Alberta, Schulich School of Music at McGill University, and the Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester.
