This store-room was built into the hill. So, it became a kind of refrigerator. You can open the door of the storeroom, coming from the street.

Itmann was a coal company town founded in 1916 by I.T. Mann, once one of the richest men int the world. This Company Store/Office complex was built 1923-1925 on plans of Alex Mahood using Italian stone masons. Placed on National Register in 1990. Ritter Lumber shipped in 200 premade company houses in 1919 via N&W and Virginian lines.

Stumbled upon this store that sells precious and semi-precious stones, both large geodes as well as small rocks in bulk. It was kinda cool, but I dunno what I'd ever do with bulk rocks. Good for ppl who make their own jewellery, I guess.

Sometimes when we come across a beautiful old book cover design on a book nobody reads anymore and virtually no one has ever heard of; we feel obligated to honor it by putting the design to work on something new and useful. Hence our series of decorative book sets based (mostly) on Victorian and Edwardian book covers.
This elegant image comes from an 1897 book - it shows two well dressed ladies traveling. We have placed the image across the spines of four re-purposed law books; so it is nice and substantial on the shelves. ($60)
