Grocery are also affected by the economy ... less people are shopping for food ... nowadays shopper are only buying what they need.
This was taken at 3am but there are days that tthe store is like this ... no shoppers. Groceries are not the only ones affected here but also affected the people working in here. Not only they cut our hours they have let people go.

This is the front face of Lynchburg Tennessee's General Store where the tourists go to buy Jack Daniel souvenirs etc. Shot in the afternoon and sepia toned for that "ole fashioned look".
I loved the flower arrangement and the array of scarecrows around it. I thought I 'd sneak in a shot or two. The store manager was busy arranging other displays behind me and I was hoping he wouldn't notice me clicking away. I guess he didn't.

Photo taken on December 8, 2007. Construction has begun on the new Staples Stationary Store. The glass windows have all been removed, as well as the store has been completely gutted. All of the glass windows have been removed. They kept the original street numbers: 11341 and put them on the construction entrance. Cut into the wood. Alternate photo of construction entrance.
