Interesting logo on the side of this building, even if the retrofit window is badly done.
If anyone knows what the logo stands for, please leave a comment. I think it might be an older automobile company.

With the out of this world angular design and construction the LV store sits in the Marina Bay like some Stealth craft. LV wants the store to be far from stealthy though. You can certainly see this store and you can't miss it.
The old "Lost Mountain Store" in Kennesaw, Georgia. This is right beside the road and is now surrounded by a new Publix parking lot. (Note the Publix in the background to the right.)
The Blockbuster store in Lakewood (Saskatoon) has officially closed. I'm saddened by this fact. I like how the monitors in the store are gone, but the computers still remain.
I walked out of the Sony Store in Stanford Shopping Center and saw the awesome new Apple store. Asking a ton from the camera taking a hand held bracketed shot for HDR at ISO6400.
That upper window is just crying out for someone to put a Christmas tree in it.

This Racktime rack doesn't look out of place on this vintage Raleigh.
We also installed new cream Schwalbe tires - the 635 size. Lovely.
This is a Spar store just a hundred yards from my home in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium. There are two other Spars i'm aware of so i'll go take and upload some more photos later on. It's so weird there's a group dedicated to spar spotting :D

the story behind these pictures is hard to believe. every thing you see here is a time capsule of sorts. I don't remember all the details but it is something like this. about 1949 the owner of this hardware closed his doors to the public to simplify his life after an illness and just work one job. he lived in the top part of the building raised several children. in the mean time he just put the inventory aside and used half of the store as a workshop (imagine having a stocked hardware store as a workshop) in 2004 the remaining heir allowed a few people that do estate sales to go in clean and rearrange all the store stock back to its original display according to pictures. it was walking back in time and what you see is exactly like the photos I saw. the day before the sale we drove up there to get a peak at the happenings. to our surprise they were allowing small groups of people to tour the store. there were people lined up for hours to get in and buy up the items. To our surprise the prices were reasonable and could have been a lot higher. the bottom line these guys got a flat rate to put this together and the amount of time it took I will bet they made less than minimum wage to pull this off. they wanted to recreate this for the public to see, and money wasn't an issue to the last family member.
anyway what a treat this was to see
