On Pembridge Road near Portobello Road. I have to assume that the sign is a prank and it's actually an official Banksy store.
Heartfelt messages and items in memory of Steve Jobs were left outside the University Village Apple Store in Seattle starting shortly after word of his death came out.
Influenced by style of German rock buildings of central Texas. built in 1898 under supervision of James Andrew Patton (1853-1944). A German mason laid the stone.
Patton fought Comanches as a Texas Ranger and was a civic leader and local postmaster. He was known affectionately as "the mayor of Oak Hill". He and family, then others, ran general store her for years. In early days, woodmen of the world had a lodge hall upstairs. (1970) (Marker No. 12244)
On this date, Staples began the process of dismantling the original W.T.Grants sign which had been on the building for 40/50 years. The Holder did not go without a fight. Snapped into pieces. Photos taken on Jan. 6, 2008 of Former WT GRANT store that closed in the 1970's. Pick N Save took over the site, and the name was subsequently changed a couple of years ago to Big Lots. This Pic N Save Store was a replacement Store for another store that was around the corner. The Original Pic N Save Store was located on National and Sepulveda and eventually moved to this location when Grants closed down. Big Lots Closed this location in the summer fall of 2007. The building is currently under renovations to become Staples Office Supply Store. On the left is Ralphs (former Hughes) and on the right is a former Thrifty, now Rite Aid. One of xx photos of this shopping center.
I wish I knew more about this store. But it just sits lonely and empty, with a few cool old rusting cigarette ads on the back doors.

Daiso is like a Japanese dollar store. They sell Japanese livingware for good prices. Most of their stuff is $1.50. There are only nine stores in the USA. Most of them are in California while we have four in Washington. However, most of them (2,500 stores) are located in Japan.

New to the Rec/IM building in the 1991-92 school year was the sporting goods store called the "Competitive Edge." This store stocked a complete line of clothes and other work-out essentials. Also the outdoor recreation program which allowed students to rent outdoor recreation equipment such as innertubes, toboggans, camping equipment, tents and even a tug-o-war rope.
