It's such a shame I couldn't get that centre stamen sharp as well as the other bits and blur the background at the same time! A better photgrapher than me would no doubt have managed it.
But still, I do like this photo, which is fresh and clean and Springy...
It’s official!...Spring arrived at 12:57 p.m. today. No season has every been so eagerly anticipated. The weather here will warm up, then go back to chilly again, and there’s talk of yet another snowstorm on Tuesday. But still, it’s *S P R I N G* ! :-)
I think this doll is beautiful. Her dress is a recreation of Jason Wu's dress from Spring 2017. It took two years to get as close to the fashion as possible
Spring Woodland – This is an image made one evening last year in the Lake District. It’s a woodland that I stumbled upon at the end of a very good days mountain walking. I was within a few miles of finishing the walk and I noticed a lovely south facing woodland with a carpet of bluebells. This image was made the very next evening. Looks peaceful doesn’t it, well I can tell you behind me was two tired hungry kids been bitten to death by midges and asking me how long till we go! Happy days!

Another spring frog video shot on the Northwest Trail in Moncton during the last week.
This is the product of 3 different evenings staking out the frogs at the same pond with my gear. Each year for the past 3-4 years, I've been going to the same pond early each May when the "Peepers" wake up from their winter slumber.
To me, their mating chorus is a definite sign of spring, and it reminds me of when I was a young boy growing up in rural Nova Scotia where they could also be heard this time of year.
This year, my gear is a little bit better than in previous years, so I wanted to get a close-up of them singing, this was about the best I could do so far this year.
Their evening songs will be going on for a few more days at least, so I may still venture out to see if I can get better pictures or videos.

Not sure what kind of tree these flowers are on but, we have lots of them in Niagara Falls & & the flowers look great in the spring.
