The grass is greening and the leaves are budding. Spring colours brighten our landscapes and lift the spirit.

Another season of spring storms for this old barn...will it survive the winds and rain this time around? I’ll keep you posted!
One of our most magnificent wild flowers. The pasqueflower blooms in April and grows in dry grasslands, limestone banks and hillsides. Especially in backlight they are very beautiful !
Though you wouldn't have known that yesterday, it poured with rain.
Loved it !
More rain today as well.

Have a fantastic week
While autums is creeping in and colors the leaves yellow, red and orange, I took this image while spring just had arrived. Made during my trip earlier this year in the Netherlands.
Spring thaw finally!
I believe that the Flickr community is for sharing and it is not my intention that this photo comes with no information. The reason that none is shown is that I have edited it in Photoshop and have not learned how to save or export the photo with what is equivalent to the EXIF file that is saved in LrC. None of the Adobe info websites or instructional videos that I have viewed seemed to have helped. If there is a way to do that, kindly let me know. Much appreciated.
Finally, I'm seeing some familiar signs of a very late spring. Forsythia and Iris reticulata are starting to bloom and, of course, the March Lenten Roses are adding their cheer to my garden.
"It's a spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want to -- oh you don't quite know what it is you do want, it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so!

The Orange Tip (here male) is a typical spring butterfly, which mainly prefers the cuckoo flower (also a flower that only occurs in spring) as a food plant.
Der Aurorafalter (hier männlich) ist ein typischer Frühlings-Schmetterling, der vorwiegend das Wiesenschaumkraut als Futterpflanze bevorzugt (auch eine Blume, die nur im Frühling vorkommt).
