Spring cherry blossoms in Athens Ohio by the river. It stormed soon after and the majority of the petals fell off, so I went just in time.

I'll be checking al your streams again in the evening today.
A balmy day today in Vancouver, at least 11C, warmer away from the water. Discovered some lovely Spring blooms on a walk at Deer Lake park in Burnaby.
I can't believe that spring has finally decided to arrive to Finland! :D I'm enjoying the first flowers in our yard.

for this week's photo challenge!!
It was definitely a challenge....our spring has turned into summer already.
Pictures of the Spring Fire that started June 27, 2018 near Fort Garland, CO, Costilla County. It moved east over the Sangre de Cristo mountains into Huerfano County where we live. We have been under Pre-evacuation notice since Friday, 6/28/18. Everything is packed in the van, ready to go if we have to evacuate. Hope not!
Lovely spring sunshine now, but 20 minutes earlier there had been a slow moving torrential shower which freshened things up no-end! However, spring itself certainly seems to have sprung as the track side bushes are blossoming well and there is even a maturing field of rape seed in the back ground. All on 1st April 2017-obviously Spring is no fool in 2017! Passing by, having just left the Long Marston complex is Pathfinder Tours 'The Round Robin', 1Z78 1620 to Crewe, running 30 minutes late with DRS Class 37 No. 37069 clagging well at the helm and a silent, almost sullen, No. 37716 being dragged along at the rear.
