Not the most colorful songbird, but one of the most reliable, this Song Sparrow (Melospiza melodia) will sing beautifully throughout the spring and summer.
This one seen at Lake St. Clair Metropark, Michigan.
I love to see how every day is more and more green outside :)
Uwielbiam ten czas gdy zaczyna się zielenić... :)
With wind chills dipping below zero, I’ve been dreaming of warm, sunny weather!

September 1 is officially the beginning of our spring period here on the east coast of New South Wales, Australia - but this past three weeks has already seen an increase in invertebrate activity.
Glycyphana sp. flower beetle perhaps stolata or brunipes. I read that these two species are only separated by whether one has protrusions on the hind leg. Specimens from both species have been observed to have the same maculation on the elytra.

An image back from a May-Day shoot at Mitcheldever. As autumn rolls in a quick reminder of a spring dawn. It was a stunningly beautiful sunrise the morning this was taken, golden light creeping through the trees.

This lighting came out strange in this shot but i like it anyway! Hazy light and spring colors. Finally some warmth.
Spring is in the air again and a beautiful carpet of golden daffodils return each year, photo taken at a wood local to us in Gloucestershire. Spring 2025.
Last Friday me and Siam went out to enjoy the stunning Spring weather. And of course the dollies came along too. Siama brought Lukas and Poppy, and I took Erin and Colette out for a hike. We had loads of fun with joggers and dog-walkers pointing fingers at us crawling on the grown taking dolly pictures. :)
A very windy day in Spring, the clouds were passing by the city. This shot was taken from the Trinity River, just a few miles from downtown.
This looks like fall, but it is actually spring. The pink tree is a cherry tree blossoming. The remaining trees are the natural year round colours.
#Aria Di Primavera
"is that behind the things you are, Spring,
to start writing in humidity,
with fingers playful little girl,
the delirious alphabet of the time that returns"
Pablo Neruda
"è che dietro le cose ci sei tu, Primavera,
che cominci a scrivere nell'umidità,
con dita di bambina giocherellona,
il delirante alfabeto del tempo che ritorna"
