It's so nice to finally get spring, but things look so dirty. This would have looked so much better with a light dusting to cover up all the dirt in the snow. Oh well, at least it's getting warmer.

Not the sharpest of shots!... but I like the effect of the bokeh with the Pentacon ;-))

Green Spring Gardens is a public park in Alexandria, Virginia, managed by Fairfax County. It's one of the nicer gardens in the Washington DC metropolitan area. They have wonderful flower gardens, two lakes, trails and historic buildings. Bees are a favorite photo subject of mine; this one was in a sea of yellow.

Taken at Hergest Croft garden near Kington.

A lovely small woodlands in the Washburn valley, which has a good coverage of both wild garlic and bluebells.

Impressive how the peaks of the Cascade Range literally rise out of nothing, making them so visually prominent.

The Southwest Chief (#3) rumbles through the small town of Springer, NM just before high noon on a decent spring morning.

Springer is south of Raton by about 30-45 minutes or so. I have already shot pretty much all the remaining semaphores around Colmor and Wagon Mound, so I decided to try my luck around Springer and get a drone shot. I'm glad I did.

Flower colours, as it is painted.
