I love this time of year when the woodland floor burst into colour with bluebells and here I captured an area at a longer focal length to isolate them from the rest of the wood.
I hope you like it. Thank you for looking.
Last Friday me and Siam went out to enjoy the stunning Spring weather. And of course the dollies came along too. Siama brought Lukas and Poppy, and I took Erin and Colette out for a hike. We had loads of fun with joggers and dog-walkers pointing fingers at us crawling on the grown taking dolly pictures. :)
This looks like fall, but it is actually spring. The pink tree is a cherry tree blossoming. The remaining trees are the natural year round colours.
"Japanese gardens ask that you go beyond the garden spiritually, that you look at the garden not merely as an object but also as a path into the realms of spirit." ~ Makoto Ooka
Spent the morning at the Missouri Botanical Garden where everything was in full bloom...perfect spring morning to leave a lasting impression :-)
Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend...busy week ahead for me, so I'll be checking in when I can. Have a great week, and as always, thanks for stopping by to visit!!!!

I think we’ve been patient enough around these parts wouldn’t you say? Time for some Spring Fever.

"is that behind the things you are, Spring,
to start writing in humidity,
with fingers playful little girl,
the delirious alphabet of the time that returns"
Pablo Neruda
"è che dietro le cose ci sei tu, Primavera,
che cominci a scrivere nell'umidità,
con dita di bambina giocherellona,
il delirante alfabeto del tempo che ritorna"

Life in Spring means enjoying the warm sun and the cool grass. It means watching birds and bees. It also means getting terribly dirty because the fresh soil in the flowerbeds is irresistable. And it means shedding your thick winter coat and feeling slim and light again. Life in Spring is fab !
Latter spring blooming 'Dwarf Daffodils'.. 'Narcissus hawera'..
Have a peaceful Sunday.. thanks for any comments left..
And now we break from our beautiful flow of Caribbean photos to bring you back to the reality that is New England.
Well this was a fine wake up call today! So much for Spring. The real problem is that we lost many tops of trees and branches to trees with the ice storm back in January, this rain/slush/snow is also extremely heavy and we have lost many more.
I guess this means no Easter Egg hunt in the backyard this year. Even if it were all to melt today, everything would be so saturated and soggy.
On another note, my 20D has been shipped back from repairs!! YAY!!!
I miss my camera SO much!

“You expected to be sad in the fall. Part of you dies each year when the leaves fell from the trees and their branches were bare against the wind and the cold, wintry light. But you knew there would always be the spring, as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen.”
Ernest Hemingway
Its official Spring is here!
I took this photo of Weeping Serpentine Cherry at the flower show last week.
Happy Spring!
Great Crested Grebes making sure there will be Humbugs this spring. Seen at the Walsall Arboretum, England - 4.3.26 (Olympus OM1 + 150/600 lens, equivalent 1,200mm of lens) processed using PHOTOSHOP
I’ve been taking too many flower pics, so decided to put some of them together. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
