My son at 25 december at Dubai. Hiting the sun back in the other direction. Happy we get longer days since then ;) :)
Winter holds a certain draw for me, but only temporarily. I suppose my thoughts echo those of many others.
I can already feel that that tiny change in the air that says spring's coming.
Mostly I'm just looking forward to walking outside without transforming into a human popsicle.

The southern slopes of the mountains have bare ground while there is still a lot of snow on the valley floor. In this photo near Bern, Idaho a little road cut traps snow in the wind and creates beautiful drifts. The mountains are the Preuss Range of the Rockies.
A 25 yard stretch of a spring that feels like a lush oasis surrounded by dry earth and rocky terrain.
This is what Spring looks like in Missoula...well I guess it's not quite Spring yet but it sounds good! lol.. Hope everyone is doing well...not too much going on here...work..work...work!! :P Have a great week ahead!! :)

Blossom on my wild cherry tree has been flowering for two or three weeks, which is covered in white now.
Almost we started to see spring view all around us. Every season is valuable but spring carries different meaning. it remembers reborn.
Daffodils are starting to bloom all over.
I had to wait for a few days for the conditions to be right to have some texture in the sky.
I have mostly yellow in my early Spring garden.
Very uplifting indeed.

In our part of the country, spring passes quickly. If you haven't been out for five days, you find the trees in bud. If you don't see the trees for another five days, you discover that they've put out leaves. In another five days, they're so green you wouldn't recognize them. It makes you wonder: Can these be the same trees I saw a few days before? And you answer yourself: Of course they are. That's how fast spring goes by. You can almost see it. From far away it comes racing toward you. And when it reaches you it whispers in your ear, "I'm here," and then runs swiftly on.
