The dogs where hot in this blistering heat so the paddling pool came out for them to jump in. Decided to get some splash pictures standing well back with the 50-150.
I like this one as it shows the balls reflection in the splash.
Ava, splashing in a little puddle that turned out to be surprisingly muddy. I had to rinse off her boots when we got home. (I carefully dipped them in the buckets of rain water that were in our back yard.)
Sofi and I went to the Splash Mountain line 5 times before finally deciding at 8:50 pm that we were going to ride it. We ended up getting on the ride at 10:05! And finally walked out of the park entrance at 10:45 pm, 45 minutes after it closed. This photo makes it worth it :)
One i'm pretty chuffed with from Pettico Wick bay, St. Abbs today. Taken about an hour before high tide. Always wanted to get back here since my first visit last year, when the tide was out/very low. Seen the waves advancing onto this rock from up on the slipway, so made my way over to it and got this, and got a bit of a soaking for it too, but I feel it was worth it :o)

My nephew was sitting in the water when a wave came by and splashed us. No worries, this kiddo practically lives at the beach, so he loves the water already. And despite how it looks, my camera didn't get wet either.

I so wish I could paint, but the second best option is Photoshop and Topaz Simplify. Enjoy!
