End of Splash Mountain

My nephew was sitting in the water when a wave came by and splashed us. No worries, this kiddo practically lives at the beach, so he loves the water already. And despite how it looks, my camera didn't get wet either.

Deep shadow over the back garden first thing in the morning. Another photo for my "through the year" series - the same view, the same focal length, at different times during the year. The garden is looking very verdant at the moment with a splash of colour from the pink weigela and the red peonies. Nothing much in the veg plot yet - beans will be going in soon.
