004/365.
This was a lot of fun. I'm really enjoying the 365 project because it is an excuse for me to push myself and learn more about my camera. For too long I left the settings on auto focus and took ho-hum pictures. Now, I'm taking slightly less then ho-hum pictures.
Splashed by bright morning sunlight, a Long-tailed Skipper refuels on Wild pennyroyal (Piloblephis rigida) at Sweetbay Natural Area, Palm Beach County, Florida.

Just water, was my first shot and I missed it but I kinda like it.
I've already described how the falling tide created a line of spit land along the coast of the Finnish Bay when I got out for a walk in St. Petersburg a couple of weeks ago. Well, the evening strollers were not alone anjoying this new land — I saw 2 cars racing back and forth on it, making big splashes, drfting on sand and water, basically, having fun. And it was even more exciting to see a VW van being one of those.

High surf and tide made for explosive splashes on the rocks off shore of the elephant seal rookery. This image is taken along the bluff trail in from the northern parking lot.
I went to Duinrell (a Dutch themepark) with Solarsenshi and her friends, Gerben and Solarsenshi's boyfriend went to the same attraction called "Splash" over and over again, it's a wild water ride and it makes you SO wet if you're in it but also if you are standing in front of it... but they seemed to enjoy it so they did it many times, and as you can see they looked like they were drowned... whahaha it was really funny though.
Of course I didn't stand in front of it since I don't like being wet the rest of the day whaha but I did enjoyed the wild water ride...
Pictures are crappy because I didn't take my camera with me and took these pictures with my mobile phone (with the most crappy 2.0 mp camera on it)
This is the 3rd rendition of the brer characters outside of splash mountain. Below i will have links to the original, 1st and 2nd edition photoshop images. In this one i added a level of saturation and also i had overlayed a copy of the colored part to help sharpen it. Please let me know if there is some other technique i should try as i am just now learning photoshop. Also feel free to let me know which photoshopped version is better. Thank you.
