We went for a drive Saturday evening to Peggy's Cove and stopped along the way to try to catch some waves splashing. I was not expecting much color in the sky when we got to the lighthouse since it was pretty dull at this point. But it got gorgeous (in next image to be posted)
We had a nice evening yesterday. We (smawuascht, Roland Ster, Outburner, www.flickr.com/photos/17921122@N00/ and me) met us for trying some splash pictures.
Now we all know, we must learn a lot more to make perfect splash photos, but it was very funny and interesting!

I've been out of school for the past two days on account of the massive amounts of snow that has landed, so I thought I would take the free time to finally make some cookie splash photos. Yay!
some nice waves rolling into the beach at North Berwick, took a bit of timing (and several dud shots!) to try and catch the moment they splashed up and over the rocks in a satisfying foamy explosion and huge woosh, then that sort of sizzling sounds as the water flows back out again for a moment, before booming back in.

Splash Café has been a favorite destination in Pismo Beach since 1989. Their casual beach-oriented cafe has been featured in several national publications and has received requests from Gourmet and Bon Appetit magazines for their clam chowder recipe. They have served more than 20,000 gallons of their specialty clam chowder a year in the Pismo Beach café!
