Yeah, i went ahead and tried some experiment in splash photography, that too first time.. :).. This is one from the series. I chose to use raw green lemon instead of the ripe yellow one as I believe that GREEN is more appealing to eyes that a pale yellow..:). Hope you guys like it..

Photo for project, Have to do some self portraits so you'll see a couple more uploaded this week, Here's one though; quite funny..

Done by using a tripod and a remote shutter release cable on a 10second count down..

My friend stood on a ladder out of the frame and threw a bucket of water onto me..(It's November so believe me when I say it was freezing!!!!)

A small potato dropped in a glass of water.

ODC - Celebration. So the kids picked out new decorations this year, and this one was my choice :)

Haven't done a drop/splash shot for a while and I wanted to see if perhaps that was where I left my mojo - had a bit of a wobble a couple of days ago...

Spent a pleasant rainy morning dropping more things in water

It took like 50 shots to get the nice splash... milk was everywhere :)

Splish Splash

Nikon D7000, 300mm, F14, ISO 100, 1/200 sec.

Strobist info: Single YN560 speedlite set to 1/32 power aimed at red/white/blue backdrop from about 20cm away, just off to the right of the drip container, angled up roughly 45 degrees. Wirelessly triggered.

A quick iPhone pic while shopping. I needed an umbrella myself on this very wet day.

Pools of Mokolea, Kauai, Hawaii. There are some "Thor's Well" like view in Hawaii. This one in Kauai is rarely visited by photographer. It was more difficult than I expected getting to this lava sinkhole. The dirt road getting there was flooded so I had to park one mile away from the parking lot and hiked on the muddy road. The weather was not very cooperating. But the tide was at the right level that I can take this "splashing" view instead of something classic as water flowing back into the well.

Wheels in a trout-pond produce air and a wonderful splash.
