This is the result of being in the house on a rainy day in Yorkshire and wanting to learn more about photography. A tray of water , an off camera flash and drop the handle of a Knife into the tray. Splash ! I hope you like the shot, please let me know if you do. Thanks and have a great weekend , Graham.

A quick splashing session tonight, had to mess around with the lighting a bit as I lost someone moved one of my wireless flash receivers. This is blue stuff dripped into yellow/green stuff, 2 flashes fired at acrylic sheet at rear, 1 with orange sweetie wrapper, 1 with purple sweetie wrapper gel. I bumped up the iso for these and de-noised them in lightroom.
Near Col de Sommeiller.
I saw the biker coming, and waved him to make a nice splash for me, and so he did!

As a kid I used to spend quite some time near the ford at Rufford Mill - most people would drive through it at a pedestrian pace, but some people would see the people watching on the footbridges at the side and race through to create a big splash.
These days I'm generally the one either cycling* or driving through the water (as fast as I dare because I'm still a big kid) - but tonight whilst walking I thought I'd spectate again.
